Ashley’s first label venture, CHAMPAGNE BULLE DE RÊVE launched in October 2016 on Global Champagne Day just weeks before her fourth-annual New York Champagne Week, an annual event Ashley created in November 2013. Champagne Bulle de Rêve (aka Dream Bubble) was inspired by Ashley’s neighborhood at the time, Irving Place New York where she dwelled for four-years while starting and cultivating her wine and fizz fueled ventures. Irving Place has long been an inspiring hub for artists, musicians, culinary masters and more and it certainly served as Ashley’s inspiration for Bulle de Rêve. Wine Enthusiast’s 40-under-40 Tastemaker and New York Champagne Week Founder, Blaine Ashley, and New York-based journalist and blogger, Megan Murphy (@ThisGirlCanEat), teamed up to launch—an exclusive Provence rosé wine inspired by Ashley’s native home of Hawaii. Ashley’s aim was to merge Hawaii’s laid-back island vibe with her love of Provence-style rosé. Partnering with Murphy, who is well-connected in the culinary industry and also a rosé enthusiast, further incentivized the duo to launch a label that would be a perfect food pairing wine, as well as easy drinking on its own. A portion of all profits benefits Ukulele Kids Club Inc., a non-profit organization that donates ukuleles and gives the gift of music to hospitalized children.

Ashley’s trials and tribulations as an entrepreneur in the fizz biz inspired her third-label, Champagne Petite Bête aka Tiny Beast. Oft feeling like an under-dog with obstacles and adversity fueling her ‘solopreneur’ fire, Ashley opted to work with Champagne’s ‘under-dog’ grape for this project, Pinot Meunier. Typically considered the ‘balancing grape’ between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier boasts the most playful and spunky personality of the three with flavors of white flowers, herbs, blueberries, spices, earth and meaty notes—hitting it all—sweet, savory and spicy tones.
